Welcome to Seoul, Korea! The Olympic bridge was built between 1985 and 1990 to celebrate the Olympics. The bridge links the Gwangjin and Songpa districts. It is one of the busier roadways in downtown Seoul and at night it is beautifully illuminated with a rainbow of lights.
In the foreground you can see another bridge, which is part of the metropolitan subway system, opened in 1984. You can spot trains crossing the bridge at all hours of the day.

Sheltered on the east side of the island of Vågsøy, Måløy is a major exporter of Norway's treasured seafood
A charming village, with a population of just over 3,000 people, Måløy is the administrative centre of the municipality of Vågsøy. While the town is small, it has huge facilities for preserving and processing fish. Every year, 180,000-200,000 tonnes of fish are brought ashore here and then exported directly abroad. You can see the schedule for the ships entering and leaving the port here.
Vågsøy has several unique characteristics. In addition to Måløy town centre and its many lighthouses, the area is known for the well-known Kannestenen rock, molded by the sea over thousands of years into a spectacular mushroom-like shape. Also, for lazy summer days, you'll find a beautiful silver sand beach. Some say it's the most beautiful in Norway. Adding to its local attractions, Måløy is close to several famous national attractions like the Jostedalsbreen National Park - where you will find the largest glacier in continental Europe.
History
Legend has it that Viking King Magnus the Good went ashore on the small island of Moldøen in 1035. From here he summoned all the peasants in the area to "thing" (meaning assembly of free men). His father St. Olav had been fighting these peasants for a long time, but Magnus wanted peace and promised them better laws and more freedom. The island was then named Málstefna, literally "speaking stone".
This was later modernized to Moldøen. Måløy was originally founded as a trading centre on this small island. As trade flourished, the town gradually moved to the larger island of Vågsøy, while keeping the name of the smaller island. This is the cause of some confusion, although the smaller island is today often known as "Lisje-Måløyna" (the smaller Måløy). Måløy became an official town in 1997.

Sokolka is situated in the eastern part of Podlasie Vojevodship, on the edge of Knyszyn Primeval Forest, by the international road and railway route Warsaw-Bialystok-Grodno and running farther towards Minsk, Vilnius, Riga, St. Petersburg and Moscow. The municipality borders on Belarus and is situated on the territory of a future European Union’s east boundary. Sokolka municipality covers the area of 314 km2. This webcam shows the stunning view of Tokyo’s waterfront around Shiodome and Hamamatsuchō, looking out toward Tokyo Bay. The curved elevated expressway in the foreground is part of the Shuto Expressway, looping gracefully above the water. This circular ramp is a recognizable feature near the Shiodome area, leading traffic on and off the Rainbow Bridge and inner-city expressway network.
At night, the skyline glows with modern high-rises and office towers, giving a classic Tokyo nightscape. The tall structure with the blue light at its tip is Tokyo Tower, a famous landmark visible from many points across the city. Just beyond lies the port area, where boats and ferries move through the bay. This area is popular with visitors for its city lights, waterfront walks, and access to attractions like the futuristic architecture of Shiodome, scenic views from Hamarikyu Gardens, and the Rainbow Bridge illuminated at night.

Lala Mountain Nature Protection Zone Spring is filled with a romantic atmosphere! It formed into the Daguan Mountain Natural Landscape Reservation in 1986.
At Lala Mountain, a pink and white sea of flowers decorates the emerald green mountain top, attracting many tourists for the cherry blossoms. Around February to March every year, the 300-meter-long Zhongbaling Cherry Blossom Trail is filled with colorful Taiwan Cherry, Japanese Flowering, Prunus campanulata, Fuji cherry, etc. The falling petals in the breeze paint a beautiful and dreamy scene.
The mountain has the biggest area of juniper forest in Taiwan. The site is home to 18 giant juniper trees. Among these giant woods, the number five giant juniper is the oldest of all. It has a history of 2800 years! Besides the giant junipers, all kinds of rare birds also color the reservation region.

Daxi was the earliest developed area in Taoyuan. Thanks to small sailboats sailing between Dahan Creek and Tamsui River, Daxi had a thriving trade with China, and its prosperity brought success to many stores and businessmen.
During the Japanese occupation period of the Taisho era, Baroque architecture was the popular building style and therefore many stores along Heping Road and Zhongshan Road were built in the Baroque style, but decorated with both Baroque ornamentation and characteristic totems of Min-nan in Southern China. Here we are in Plagne Centre, 1,970m above sea level. From this central location, there are three ski lifts that will take you wherever you want to go: Bécoin and Colorado chairlifts and the Funiplagne gondola. It is the starting point for the Colorado toboggan run and the Buffalo Park fun slope…yee haw!
Nearby, the town of Aime la Plagne has a tradition of welcoming travellers. The first signs of human occupation date from the Middle Iron Age, between around 450 and 25 BC. It is about 20 kilometres from La Plagne’s high altitude villages.
A town of around 4500 inhabitants, Aime offers numerous shops, restaurants and services, where you can find all you need during your stay. It has a railway station served by TGV trains. There is a weekly market on Thursdays all year round in the town centre, with local artisans selling food, beer, honey and cheese, as well as one-off creations, decorative items, furniture and accessories.

Daxi Bridge is a pedestrian suspension bridge with benches for taking in leisurely views of the city & mountains. It is located in Taoyuan City, Taiwan.
The bridge spans Dahan River and can be found just below Zhongzheng Park. It connects to the cycling track on the left bank of Dahan River and is only available for use to pedestrians and cyclists. In addition to the lights switch on at night, adding atmosphere to the night scenery of the Dahan River banks. The bridge was constructed using the Baroque style similar to the buildings on Daxi Old Street. The bridge connects Ruian Road Section 1 and Daxi Old Street, making it simple to take a tour of culture and food over the weekends.

West Bay had been known as Bridport Harbour until the railway arrived in 1884. Now only the harbour itself retains that name. Over the centuries West Bay has been battered by the elements, baring the scars of numerous storm battles. A three year scheme to rebuild the coastal defences and harbour piers at a cost of £18 million was completed in the winter of 2004 / 2005. The Duke of York formally opened the completed scheme on Tuesday, 8th March 2005.

Alishan or Ali Mountain in Taiwan is a hugely popular tourist destination for those who love nature. When the river is navigable you can enjoy the beautiful landscape along the Elbe between Děčín and Hamburg every day. The crew of the vessel consists of Captain Jaroslav Batista, boatman Kuba and several other members who can share with you the interesting things from life on the ship. Due to the fact that the boat moves along the river even outside densely populated places, it sometimes happens that the signal drops out and the transmission does not run or the image gets stuck.

Home to trillions of brine shrimp, millions of birds, and world-famous tufa towers, its tributary streams also supply water to Los Angeles, nearly 350 miles to the south.
After a successful legal fight stopped excessive water diversions, ongoing advocacy ensures that balanced solutions provide enough water for both people and the environment. Since 1978 the Mono Lake Committee has worked to protect Mono Lake, restore its tributary streams and surrounding lands, and educate the next generation about wise water use.

The Geirangerfjord is one of Norway's most visited tourist sites and has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, along with the Nærøyfjord, since 2005.
Along the sides of this magnificent fjord, there a number of abandoned farms. The farms that are most commonly visited are Skageflå, Knivsflå and Blomberg. Skageflå can also be reached on foot from Geiranger, while the others can only be seen from the fjord.
The fjord also has several impressive waterfalls. The two most notable waterfalls in the Geirangerfjord are ‘de Syv Søstre’ (the seven sisters) and ‘Friaren’ (the suitor, also called the wooer). The two waterfalls face one another across the fjord, and the suitor is said to be trying to woo the sisters opposite.
Brudesløret (the bridal veil) is another waterfall on the fjord, thus named because it falls delicately over one rocky edge, and when seen backlit by the sun looks like a thin veil over the rocks.

The Brownville Food Pantry For Deer feeds approximately 400 pounds per day of native oats (local) to help sustain the white-tailed deer population through rough winters here in central Maine.
Feeding happens daily around 14: 00 (2 PM) Eastern Standard Time starting December 16 and continues to the beginning of April. These are wild deer and this is not a deer farm. Some of the deer have been coming for more than 10 years including a piebald deer with more white markings than a normal white-tailed deer.
At times there are 100 to 200 deer at the pantry. Wild turkeys also come and eat the native oats along side the deer. At times you may see up to 100 wild turkeys at once.
There is no Chronic Wasting Disease, or CWD in wild deer in Maine. These deer are all very healthy and there has never been any type of disease spread among these deer. This "Yarding" of deer happens in Maine every winter, even if they were not being fed.

Yyteri is a popular beach resort in Pori in the Meri-Pori area. The unique dune area and a three-kilometer long sandy beach attract tourists and townspeople to the beach through the summer.
The popular beach is Yyter's largest active sandwiched area. In Yyter there is a wide range of activities, including golf, horseback riding, beach volleyball and surfing. Dogs also have their own beach.
There are more than 30 kilometers of hiking trails, nature trails and more than ten bird watching trails. Yyteri is part of the Preiviikinlahti Natura 2000 site, which includes Yyterin Sannat and sludges and the Herrandienne peninsula. Yyter's area is also part of the Selkämeri National Park.

Shiga Prefecture is located in almost the exact center of Japan and also boasts the islands’ largest lake, Lake Biwa.
A large freshwater lake in Shiga Prefecture, northeast of Kyoto. It’s known for its abundant fish population, migratory water birds and wetland regions. It's shoreline is home to resorts and beaches like Ōmi-Maiko.
Around the lake are historic sites including the 17th-century Hikone castle and the 8th-century Buddhist temple complex Enryaku-ji. Lake Biwa Museum has cultural and natural history exhibits.
