Scenic View Campground was established in 2017. Development of the grounds began in the fall of 2014 when the 3.5 acre pond was developed.
After the completion of the pond, construction of the Bar & Grill began, and in May of 2017, Scenic View Campground Bar & Grill was opened. Opening night set a high bar for what was to come!
Since opening night, the Bar & Grill has become the go-to gathering place in the area. Not only is it a bar and grill, but we also do catering, event rentals, live entertainment, and we’re open to snowmobiles throughout the winter. We’re growing fast, and always making changes along the way to improve our customers’ experience. Don’t let the word “bar” fool you; our typical Friday night is the perfect atmosphere for families to enjoy a meal together.
While the Bar & Grill was growing rapidly throughout 2017, the Campground wasn’t far behind. While mostly under construction throughout the 2017 season, the Campground’s Grand Opening was in May of 2018, and grand it was! With the beautiful grounds nearly full, there was much fun all around.
Although we are fully open, we are always looking to improve on what we currently have. Among those areas to be completed or updated are the beach and swimming area, docks for the paddle boats, and an all-new event pavilion for graduations, reunions, birthdays, weddings, and much more! As we’re still in the building stages (2018), don’t be surprised if you come back each year to see something new and improved!

Have you ever been to a city centre in the middle of the sea?
The city of Kristiansund is situated on four different islands. But don’t worry – in minutes, the tiny ferry Sundbåten will take you between Kirkelandet, Innlandet, Nordlandet and Gomalandet. Ask the skipper to let you off at the Milnbrygga wharf, where you can visit the Norwegian Clipfish Museum. Kristiansund was partly built on fishing, and especially the clipfish – split and salted cod that were traditionally dried on the cliffs along the sea.
Clipfish and bacalao are still staple foods in the region. Get a taste of some of the freshest seafood at Smia Fiskerestaurant. Located in a house from 1787, it is one of the most unique eateries in town. Speaking of food from the region – you need to try the award-winning cheeses from Tingvollost, especially “Kraftkar”, which has been named the world’s best cheese!
Join the annual food festival Snadderfestivalen in June to really dig into the local food, drink the local craft beers, and taste the local aquavit, which is made on potatoes and seaweed.
Did you know that Kristiansund is home to the country’s oldest opera? With more than 100 performances a year, you can always catch a show. Every year in February, they arrange the popular festival Operafestukene, where you get served opera for breakfast, lunch and dinner for 17 days.
You should also join the Nordic Light Festival of Photography, where famous international and Norwegian photographers exhibit their pictures all over town, give lectures, and drink with the locals all through the night.

Castro Street is the seven blocks between Alma Street and El Camino. It is the most happening place in Mountain View. The commercial rents are not as expensive as other city areas which gives Castro Street a diverse mixture of interesting shops and venues.
This is a good area to hang out on a weekend to walk around & people watch, drink coffee, and browse some bookstores. There are plenty of restaurants, most of which have outdoor seating on the street. San Francisco's gay village is mostly concentrated in the business district that is located on Castro Street from Market Street to 19th Street. It extends down Market Street toward Church Street and on both sides of the Castro neighborhood from Church Street to Eureka Street.
Castro Street was named after José Castro (1808–1860), a Californian leader of Mexican opposition to U.S. rule in California in the 19th century, and alcalde of Alta California from 1835 to 1836.

Alishan or Ali Mountain in Taiwan is a hugely popular tourist destination for those who love nature. This mountainous town is at an altitude of 1,403 meters, the views, the old street, and the railway are the three unforgettable things about Fenchihu Lake for those lucky enough to visit. When walking along the 500 meter long old street, you will see many vendors selling local foods, such as spicy horseradish, Aiyu seed, and tamarillo.
The sides of Fenchihu Lake are surrounded by mountains. The scene of residential houses sitting between the mountains won the place the reputation as “Joufen of Southern Taiwan.” The houses built on the mountains inconspicuously reveal the trace of time.

Barcin is a small, but interesting town in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, 50 km from tourists attractions of Torun. Barcin is situated in the Pałuki region of Poland, known for it's clean lakes, beautiful nature, monuments and tourist attractions.
While here, tourists should go for a walk to Barcin’s old town and by the picturesque Notec river. You can also climb the mountain of St. Adalbert, which has a breathtaking view of the commune and river valley.
The first records about Barcin are from 1390, but probably it existed much earlier. In 1472 Barcin obtained the privilege to organise fairs and in 1541 was given town rights. Until then it had been a settlement. In 1560 the town was a centre of the Unity of the Brethren, who ran a school here. As a result of the First Partition of Poland, Barcin was annexed to Prussia and started to develop rapidly. The growth was strictly connected with the discovery and exploitation of limestone in neighbouring Bielawy in 1860.

OUR SNOW IS ANYTHING BUT “AVERAGE!” – A standard in the ski and snowboard industry is to list the amount of snowfall received during a winter season as “average annual snowfall.” Well, ours is anything but average. With Grand Targhee’s abundant snowfall, 500 inches plus (that’s over 43 feet) each season, it’s no wonder that year after year national ski magazines rate Grand Targhee in the top three resorts in North America for snow quality and quantity. Not only do we get more natural snow that most resorts, our snow is drier (less than 5% water content) and thus lighter.
IT’S GUARANTEED – We are so confident that you’ll be satisfied with our snow conditions at Grand Targhee Resort, we guarantee it. If for some reason you’re not, simply return your lift ticket to the Activity Center with 2 or less lift scans/ski runs and you will receive a “Snow Check” good for another lift ticket on any day during the current season. *Some restrictions apply.
IT’S NEVER BEEN EASIER TO SKI POWDER – as more and more people discover the pure joy of powder skiing while riding on new snowboards and powder skis designed for deep snow, powder reserves are becoming more popular and we certainly have our share of those. Another plus – Grand Targhee Resort still boasts one of the lowest ratios of skiers to off-trail powder acres in the country. If there’s not enough of the fluffy stuff for you on Fred’s Mountain, schedule a Snowcat Adventure trip to Peaked Mountain. Our snowcats pamper you with 602 acres and 2,400 vertical feet of unsurpassed scenery and snow conditions.

Zandvoort is both a municipality and a town located in the province of North Holland. It is considered one of the biggest beach resorts in the country. It's long sandy beaches and coastal dunes attract tourists from all over the Netherlands and abroad during the warm summer months. Zandvoort is also the home of the country’s most prominent racing circuit: Circuit Park Zandvoort.
The town dates all the way back to 1100. It was then known as Sandevoerde. Throughout much of Zandvoort’s history, fishing was a prominent part of the local economy. In the 19th century, the village began transforming into a seaside resort similar to the ones found in the UK at the time. The first resort was officially inaugurated in 1828. After the inauguration, tourists began flocking to Zandvoort. Elisabeth of Bavaria was a famous visitor who spent time in Zandvoort in 1884 and 1885.

The Geirangerfjord is one of Norway's most visited tourist sites and has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, along with the Nærøyfjord, since 2005.
Along the sides of this magnificent fjord, there a number of abandoned farms. The farms that are most commonly visited are Skageflå, Knivsflå and Blomberg. Skageflå can also be reached on foot from Geiranger, while the others can only be seen from the fjord.
The fjord also has several impressive waterfalls. The two most notable waterfalls in the Geirangerfjord are ‘de Syv Søstre’ (the seven sisters) and ‘Friaren’ (the suitor, also called the wooer). The two waterfalls face one another across the fjord, and the suitor is said to be trying to woo the sisters opposite.
Brudesløret (the bridal veil) is another waterfall on the fjord, thus named because it falls delicately over one rocky edge, and when seen backlit by the sun looks like a thin veil over the rocks.
Facts about the Geirangerfjord:
The Fred, named after King Frederik V of Denmark (also the namesake for the town of Frederiksted where the property is located) is a brand new beachfront, boutique resort & spa. It’s the only beach front resort that’s also located in town and the first new hotel to open on St. Croix since 1986.
The facility began a soft opening period on 12.1.17 by releasing the first 12 of 22 rooms to hurricane relief workers as well as visitors from off-island and “STX stay-cationers” and the reviews have been FANTASTIC, including an award for “Best New Boutique Resort” by Caribbean Journal! The Gift Shop and Spa are open and The Fred expects to open it's bar, pool and finally the restaurant within the 2019 season.
St. Croix is well known as the culinary island AND the most historically significant island in the Caribbean . The Fred is a magnificent collection of 6 beautifully renovated and preserved historic structures, each with it's own unique personality and story. For example, Totten House is named after early civil rights leader Ashley Totten and it is the signature structure on the property.
It was originally constructed in 1790 but don't let the property's rich history fool you, The Fred offers the very latest in modern travel conveniences including free Wi-Fi throughout the property, even on the beach. Best of all with the exception of drinking water, The Fred operates completely "off-the-grid", powered by two Capstone Microturbines that are fueled by renewable propane gas. Exhaust from these turbines is recycled a whopping 9 times! In fact when the entire facility is up and running at 100% capacity it will produce less carbon footprint than just 1 automobile, making The Fred the first green hotel on St. Croix.

The unique industrial atmosphere, the imposing buildings and the location - close to the historical center of Leiden - make De Meelfabriek unique. We will fill this place with functions and buildings that are slightly different. No average apartments but lofts, not big department stores but special shops. The master plan for the new flour mill is extensive and covers no less than approximately 46,000 m² of floor space. Old industrial buildings are being revived and new buildings are being added.
The first phase was started at the end of 2016: new-build apartments for Young Professionals. Industrial lofts are currently realized in the former mill building and Riffellokaal and will be ready for occupancy in the 2nd half of 2019. The ground floor of the old factory buildings will contain unique shops and galleries. In the summer of 2018 the construction of the 3-level underground parking garage will start. The parking garage will provide the total parking needs of the users and visitors of De Meelfabriek. In this way the terrain remains car-free and there is room for a beautiful square and lots of greenery. De Singeltoren is on top of the parking garage. Housing apartments will be built in De Singeltoren.

Wolsztyn is a town in western Poland, on the western edge of Greater Poland Voivodeship.
The town is situated within the historic Greater Poland region, located on the small Dojca river, a headstream of the Obra, about 72 kilometres (45 mi) southwest of Poznań.
The municipal area includes a large lake (Jezioro Wolsztyńskie), next to which is a former palace built in Classical style in the early 20th century, now used as a hotel and restaurant, and a park. Nearby tourist destinations include the Pszczew Landscape Park and the Przemęt Landscape Park.
Mount Fuji (富士山, Fujisan) is with 3776 meters Japan's highest mountain. It is not surprising that the nearly perfectly shaped volcano has been worshiped as a sacred mountain and experienced big popularity among artists and common people throughout the centuries.
Mount Fuji is an active volcano, which most recently erupted in 1707. It stands on the border between Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures and can be seen from Tokyo and Yokohama on clear days.
Another easy way to view Mount Fuji is from the train on a trip between Tokyo and Osaka. If you take the shinkansen from Tokyo in direction of Nagoya, Kyoto and Osaka, the best view of the mountain can be enjoyed from around Shin-Fuji Station on the right hand side of the train, about 40-45 minutes into the journey.
Note however, that clouds and poor visibility often block the view of Mount Fuji, and you have to consider yourself lucky if you get a clear view of the mountain. Visibility tends to be better during the colder seasons of the year than in summer, and in the early morning and late evening hours than during the middle of the day.
If you want to enjoy Mount Fuji at a more leisurely pace and from a nice natural surrounding, you should head to the Fuji Five Lake (Fujigoko) region at the northern foot of the mountain, or to Hakone, a nearby hot spring resort. Mount Fuji is officially open for climbing during July and August via several routes.

Sheltered on the east side of the island of Vågsøy, Måløy is a major exporter of Norway's treasured seafood
A charming village, with a population of just over 3,000 people, Måløy is the administrative centre of the municipality of Vågsøy. While the town is small, it has huge facilities for preserving and processing fish. Every year, 180,000-200,000 tonnes of fish are brought ashore here and then exported directly abroad. You can see the schedule for the ships entering and leaving the port here.
Vågsøy has several unique characteristics. In addition to Måløy town centre and its many lighthouses, the area is known for the well-known Kannestenen rock, molded by the sea over thousands of years into a spectacular mushroom-like shape. Also, for lazy summer days, you'll find a beautiful silver sand beach. Some say it's the most beautiful in Norway. Adding to its local attractions, Måløy is close to several famous national attractions like the Jostedalsbreen National Park - where you will find the largest glacier in continental Europe.
History
Legend has it that Viking King Magnus the Good went ashore on the small island of Moldøen in 1035. From here he summoned all the peasants in the area to "thing" (meaning assembly of free men). His father St. Olav had been fighting these peasants for a long time, but Magnus wanted peace and promised them better laws and more freedom. The island was then named Málstefna, literally "speaking stone".
This was later modernized to Moldøen. Måløy was originally founded as a trading centre on this small island. As trade flourished, the town gradually moved to the larger island of Vågsøy, while keeping the name of the smaller island. This is the cause of some confusion, although the smaller island is today often known as "Lisje-Måløyna" (the smaller Måløy). Måløy became an official town in 1997.

The Coral City Camera is an underwater camera streaming live from an urban reef in Miami, Florida. It is located along the shoreline at the east end of PortMiami in about 10’ (3m) of water. It was deployed by Coral Morphologic as a hybrid art-science research project produced with Bridge Initiative and Bas Fisher Invitational and initially funded through grants awarded by a Knight Arts Challenge grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and an Art Works grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
The Coral City Camera provides a fish-eye view into the urban marine ecosystem that has developed around the human-made shorelines of Miami. The project was launched with the idea that the incredible biodiversity living just below the waterline in Miami should be a point of civic pride that engages the public to protect what they know and love. The riprap boulder shoreline along PortMiami demonstrates that human infrastructure can offer imperiled species with refuge and functional habitat in unexpected urban locations as well as serve as conveniently accessible research sites.
While the abundance of fish and marine life makes for a real-life aquarium screensaver you can enjoy all day, the Coral City Camera also serves as a valuable scientific tool to monitor the health and wellbeing of this underwater life in a non-invasive fashion. Coral Morphologic is working with ACCRETE from NOAA to sample and record the site’s water parameters while using the camera as a research tool to monitor a coral nursery that houses fragments of brain corals (Pseudodiploria strigosa) from urban habitats in order to investigate their resilience. We are also working with Rescue-a-Reef from the University of Miami to use the site to identify the hardiest genotypes of staghorn (Acropora cervicornis) and elkhorn (Acropora palmata) corals that have been propagated in their offshore nursery in Biscayne National Park.

The idea of building a Carolina bridge at the Industrial School was not new, as already in 1829 other projects were presented. But these projects were put aside: In1901, Mr. Charles Bessières, banker in Lausanne and bourgeois of this city, bequeathed the sum of CHF 500'000.-, with a well-defined destination and on the express condition that the bridge Cité-École Industrielle be built before his brother upstream, the bridge School of Medicine-Cathedral.
The fourth-largest city in Switzerland, Lausanne is set apart by its vocation as an Olympic city, a sustainable city and a place of training and culture. A very popular tourist destination, the city is also home to many international companies, particularly the headquarters of multinationals. Welcome to the amazing view of the Deerfield Beach Blue. Spinner the Sea Camera sits at the bottom of the city’s landmark fishing pier, which stretches out over the ocean at nearly 1000 feet from the shoreline. Spinner’s home is located in 30-feet of water, on the pilings of the pier. Our crowning jewel is packed daily with fishermen anxious to take a bow to a tarpon or pick a fight with a feisty Barracuda.
Be prepared when you tune in to catch a glimpse of everything from a parrotfish posing for Spinner the Sea Cam, to sharks or even playful sea turtles. During the winter months, you might even see Jellyfish bouncing around the neighborhood. You will be mesmerized by the variety of multi-colored reef fish wrestling for the spotlight.
The view of the DFB Blue will easily provide moments of zen to your day, but we hope that this awesome wonder will serve as a reminder that we all have a responsibility to take care of the ocean and everything in it. A live view of Oita Funai Castle Street in Oita, Japan. This camera is located at the Kuricchaan Private Library.
In a general library, scribbling on books or making notes is not allowed. The current situation is that such books are treated as worthless in any used bookstore. However, I believe that the true value of a book is born only when there are readers. Have you ever read a book and wanted to underline your favorite phrases or write down your thoughts?
Therefore, I thought that it would be interesting to have a "library where you can freely write notes on books", which led to the opening of the library. Of course, please refrain from posting notes that are offensive to public order and morals, but I would like to provide a place where you can feel the warmth of people and the thoughts of strangers through second-hand books, leaving evidence that people have picked them up.
There are already interesting notes and poems written on it, and you can immerse yourself in the thoughts of what kind of person the previous owner was. Please feel free to visit us. Even if you don't read books, please feel free to stop by when you feel a little tired from walking around the city, after work, or while waiting for the bus or train.
