About the Site
The Panama Fruit Feeder Cam is located on the grounds of the Canopy Lodge in El Valle de Antón, Panama. This site is just over 2,000 ft above sea level in the low mountains of Cerro Gaital, with a mild springtime climate year-round. A small stream called Rio Guayabo runs past the feeders in the background, and the lush landscaping of the Canopy Lodge grounds grade into the forested slopes around them. The feeding table is around 40 feet from the main lodge, and is one of several feeders provisioned throughout the day so that guests to the lodge are greeted to spectacular views of many of the common birds found in this ecosystem.
About the Canopy Lodge
The Canopy Lodge is a full service lodge specializing in nature tourism with a focus on birds. It is about 60 miles west of Panama City in the picturesque village of El Valle de Antón, right in the center of the gigantic crater of an extinct volcano. This is the largest inhabited crater in the Western Hemisphere and second only to the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. It is surrounded by the Cerro Gaital Natural Monument.
Canopy Lodge is one of a series of three ecotourism ventures developed by the Canopy Family. The first, Canopy Tower, involved transforming a former U.S. radar station overlooking the Panama Canal in Soberanía National Park into a unique birding lodge embedded in the canopy of the surrounding forest. A Leisurely Day in West Bay
If you want a change from the beaches and coastal walks then make for the harbour where you will also find river boats for hire. From here you can take a leisurely rowing boat trip on the River Brit through riverside meadows, but don’t forget to take a picnic. Or take a stroll over to the old station and walk along the disused railway track to Bridport where you can visit the local brewery for a spot of wine tasting!
The Coastal and Harbour Improvements
West Bay had been known as Bridport Harbour until the railway arrived in 1884. Now only the harbour itself retains that name. Over the centuries West Bay has been battered by the elements, baring the scars of numerous storm battles. A three year scheme to rebuild the coastal defences and harbour piers at a cost of £18 million was completed in the winter of 2004 / 2005. The Duke of York formally opened the completed scheme on Tuesday, 8th March 2005.

Sokolka is situated in the eastern part of Podlasie Vojevodship, on the edge of Knyszyn Primeval Forest, by the international road and railway route Warsaw-Bialystok-Grodno and running farther towards Minsk, Vilnius, Riga, St. Petersburg and Moscow. The municipality borders on Belarus and is situated on the territory of a future European Union’s east boundary. Sokolka municipality covers the area of 314 km2. It is inhabited by 28 thousand of people, with 20 thousand living in the town and 8 thousand in the countryside (90 villages).
The beautiful landscape of glacial hills reaching 230 meters above sea level which is the area of the protected landscape of The Sokolka Hills and The Landscape Park in the valley of Sokolda river encourage everyone to go in for hiking, cycling, horsing and skiing. The Lomnice nad Popelkou winter stadium has a long history. At the current location behind Orlovna, a natural ice rink was built in 1953. An artificial ice area was built in 1980 and a hockey hall was built in 2000 with a load of 23 million. The dimensions of the ice surface are 57x27 m.
The winter stadium uses indirect evaporation technology. The coolant is the brine which is cooled by ammonia vapors. They are cooled by air fans. Waste heat from overheated ammonia vapors is used to heat the water to the roller and to heat the changing rooms.
The ice rink features modern ice maker facilities - the Zamboni 520 roller and the Zamboni Power Edger ice cutter.
This webcam provides a live view of the Chicago Transit Authority’s Green and Pink Line routes, including a glimpse of Clinton Station. If you look eastward, you'll also see the CTA Lake Street Tower and the entrance to "The Loop."
The webcam is located at the former Chicago & North Western powerhouse, now managed by Structured Development. This historic building, constructed between 1909 and 1911 in the Beaux-Arts style, originally housed the equipment that generated electricity for the Chicago & North Western Railroad’s terminal.
Today, the building has been repurposed by Structured Development into three floors of office and retail spaces. The Powerhouse is recognized as a City of Chicago Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. To learn more about this location, click here.

This live webcam overlooks a stretch of the Chūō Expressway near Moto-Hachiōjimachi, one of the key highway corridors linking Tokyo with the mountains of central Japan. From this view you can watch the steady flow of cars and trucks as they wind through the outskirts of Hachiōji, framed by greenery, overpasses, and the gently rising terrain that leads toward the Japanese Alps.
Traffic heading toward the top of the screen is bound for Yamanashi Prefecture, eventually reaching areas like Kōfu, Lake Kawaguchi, and the Mt. Fuji region. Vehicles travelling in the opposite direction are on their way back toward Tokyo, following one of the main commuter routes into the capital. It’s a great live snapshot of daily movement between the city and the countryside, sometimes calm, sometimes busy, always in motion.

Saint-Malo is a port city in Brittany, in France's northwest. Tall granite walls surround the old town, which was once a stronghold for privateers (pirates approved by the king). The Saint-Malo Cathedral, in the center of the old town, is built in Romanesque and Gothic styles and features stained-glass windows depicting city history. Nearby is La Demeure de Corsaire, an 18th-century privateer’s house and museum.
Makkah (also spelled Mecca) is the holiest city in Islam, located in the western region of Saudi Arabia. It is home to the Masjid al-Haram, the Grand Mosque, which houses the Kaaba — the most sacred site in Islam. Each year, millions of Muslims travel to Makkah for the Hajj pilgrimage, one of the five pillars of Islam, as well as for Umrah throughout the year. Towering at over 600 meters, it features a massive clock face visible from miles away, and lights up dramatically at night. On the beautiful peninsula of Walcheren, also named “the garden of Zeeland” , you can find camping Janse. Just 2 km away from the village of Zoutelande and at the foot of the sand dunes. The beach is directly behind the campsite, a few minutes walk over the dunes brings you to the beach.
On our neatly kept camp site, all of the pitches are approx. 95 m2, with well cared for grass areas.
For the children we have a nice play area, an animal corner and a sand pit. Further you find a jeu de boules area and a covered area “Jansje” where you can borrow books, magazines, games and toys during your stay. During the holiday period, there is a recreational team three times a week on the campsite.
The campsite is on the bicycle route, walking paths and roller skating paths are nearby. Rather travel by bus, the busstop is outside the campsite, where your discovery trail can begin. Holidays on campsite Janse is a holiday, truly near the sea.

Wilson, North Carolina’s story has captivated the imagination of the country. Farm machinery repairman, Vollis Simpson, began making gigantic kinetic sculptures at his family farm in Wilson County when he was nearing retirement age. He kept making his “whirligigs”–seven days a week–until about six months before he dies at the age of 94 in May of 2013. By that time he was famous. The story of Wilson’s campaign to use the renowned whirligigs to recharge its downtown has catapulted the community into the national spotlight. Grants from ArtPlace America, the Kresge Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts have helped the project come close to its goal of opening the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park and Museum.

Mount Fuji (富士山, Fujisan) is with 3776 meters Japan's highest mountain. It is not surprising that the nearly perfectly shaped volcano has been worshiped as a sacred mountain and experienced big popularity among artists and common people throughout the centuries.
Mount Fuji is an active volcano, which most recently erupted in 1707. It stands on the border between Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures and can be seen from Tokyo and Yokohama on clear days.
Another easy way to view Mount Fuji is from the train on a trip between Tokyo and Osaka. If you take the shinkansen from Tokyo in direction of Nagoya, Kyoto and Osaka, the best view of the mountain can be enjoyed from around Shin-Fuji Station on the right hand side of the train, about 40-45 minutes into the journey.
Note however, that clouds and poor visibility often block the view of Mount Fuji, and you have to consider yourself lucky if you get a clear view of the mountain. Visibility tends to be better during the colder seasons of the year than in summer, and in the early morning and late evening hours than during the middle of the day.
If you want to enjoy Mount Fuji at a more leisurely pace and from a nice natural surrounding, you should head to the Fuji Five Lake (Fujigoko) region at the northern foot of the mountain, or to Hakone, a nearby hot spring resort. Mount Fuji is officially open for climbing during July and August via several routes.

Scenic View Campground was established in 2017. Development of the grounds began in the fall of 2014 when the 3.5 acre pond was developed.
After the completion of the pond, construction of the Bar & Grill began, and in May of 2017, Scenic View Campground Bar & Grill was opened. Opening night set a high bar for what was to come!
Since opening night, the Bar & Grill has become the go-to gathering place in the area. Not only is it a bar and grill, but we also do catering, event rentals, live entertainment, and we’re open to snowmobiles throughout the winter. We’re growing fast, and always making changes along the way to improve our customers’ experience. Reus International Airport is popular with budget airlines like RyanAir which fly in from destinations all over Europe. With a transfer time of around 1 hour 20 minutes to Barcelona, flying to Reus also offers you the possibility of obtaining a low cost flight if you can't find a cheap fare directly to Barcelona airport.
Reus is near the east coast of Spain 10 kilometres from the coast of the Costa Dorada. (Also spelt Daurada) and 111 Km from Barcelona. Located on the west side of Kasutsu Onsen, this is a park where an Onsen river flows. 1400 liters of hot spring water comes out from more than 20 hot spring sources.Visitors can enjoy the view throughout the four seasons, such as the fresh green, autumn leaves and snow view, while enjoying the Sai-no-Kawahara open-air bath and foot bath. This open-air bath is one of the hottest in Kusatsu Onsen.
It is said it is very good for sterilization and anti-inflammation. Opening hours from April to November are from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and from December to March it is open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Entry fee for adults is 600 yen and 300 yen for children.

Wolsztyn is a town in western Poland, on the western edge of Greater Poland Voivodeship.
The town is situated within the historic Greater Poland region, located on the small Dojca river, a headstream of the Obra, about 72 kilometres (45 mi) southwest of Poznań.
The municipal area includes a large lake (Jezioro Wolsztyńskie), next to which is a former palace built in Classical style in the early 20th century, now used as a hotel and restaurant, and a park. Nearby tourist destinations include the Pszczew Landscape Park and the Przemęt Landscape Park.

The NC State Memorial Belltower is a tall stone tower at North Carolina State University in Raleigh. It was built to honor students who died in World War I. The tower has 55 real bells that were added in 2021. They ring for events like graduation, holidays, and school victories. It is one of the most famous symbols of the university.
The Belltower stands at the edge of campus, close to Hillsborough Street, where you can find cafés, shops, and restaurants. Every year, the Krispy Kreme Challenge starts here, runners race to a Krispy Kreme shop, eat a dozen doughnuts, and run back, all in under an hour! The area is fun to explore and a great place to feel the energy of NC State.

Alishan or Ali Mountain in Taiwan is a hugely popular tourist destination for those who love nature. This mountainous town is at an altitude of 1,403 meters, the views, the old street, and the railway are the three unforgettable things about Fenchihu Lake for those lucky enough to visit. When walking along the 500 meter long old street, you will see many vendors selling local foods, such as spicy horseradish, Aiyu seed, and tamarillo.

Zandvoort is both a municipality and a town located in the province of North Holland. It is considered one of the biggest beach resorts in the country. It's long sandy beaches and coastal dunes attract tourists from all over the Netherlands and abroad during the warm summer months. Born in 1989, Berlin is queen of her domain! Whether she's napping in her sandy pit or swimming laps in her cooled pool, Berlin chooses what she wants to do and when.
Nuniq - pronounced "new-nick" - was born at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in 2016 and arrived in Kansas City in 2020. You will frequently see him splashing around in the pool and tearing up some of his favorite toys.
Polar Bear Passage Facts:
• A 140,000 gallon pool chilled to 65 degrees for swimming and diving.
• A giant sand pit for digging (or napping) and a grassy yard for rolling around and playing with enrichment items.
• Air-conditioned bedrooms and den behind the scenes, complete with private swimming pool.
Keeping Busy:
Zookeepers plan daily activities for our bears. They use varied foods, smells, toys and sounds to change what they experience everyday. You may see our bears playing with balls, barrels, logs, or straw – they have a lot of options! You may also notice that Berlin sometimes paces, which is a habit she developed as a younger bear. The amount of time she paces changes from season to season, probably due to weather changes, hormones and natural instincts.
The Menu:
Berlin and Nuniq have a wide choice of food items. Herring, capelin, trout, polar bear kibble, lard and a selection of fruits and vegetables are all on the menu. Seasonally, polar bear weights fluctuate widely just as they would in the Arctic. In summer months, polar bears weigh much less because they are unable to hunt seals on the ice. In the winter, when hunting is possible, polar bears pack on the pounds.

De Dijk is open in the morning, when our first guests drink a fragrant cup of coffee or cappuccino with whipped cream and cake. Riddarfjärden is the easternmost bay of Lake Mälaren in central Stockholm. Stockholm was founded in 1252 on an island in the stream where Lake Mälaren drains into the Baltic Sea.

The Ryūkyū Shimpō ( 琉球新報 ) was the first Okinawan newspaper. It was founded in 1893 by Shō Jun, a former prince of the Ryūkyū Kingdom, and is still in publication today. It has the largest print-run of newspapers in Okinawa with both morning and evening editions, and the newspaper company is connected to a number of other businesses, including Ryūkyū Shimpō Shipping, Ryūkyū Shimpō Development, and Weekly Lequio (週刊レキオ社 Shūkan Rekio sha)
Piazza Silvestri is located in the small town of Bevagna, in the province of Perugia. It is considered among the most significant medieval urban constructions in Umbria. The square is overlooked by the Gothic building Palazzo dei Consoli and the Romanesque churches of San Silvestro and San Michele Arcangelo.
The town is surrounded by four walls, the so called “Gaite“. They are perfectly preserved and marked by square towers through which you access the historic centre, characterised by it's long, narrow streets and very picturesque views.
No doubt the most important event is the Market of Gaite, a medieval fair during which it is recreated the daily life in Bevagna in the period between 1250 and 1350. An amazing revival! For ten days, over the last two Sundays in June, Bevagna turns back in time. The old shops resume their activities, local people wear the costumes of that epoch and live again the daily life with games and traditional crafts.
As in the past the Gaite of Bevagna, San Giorgio, San Giovanni, San Pietro and Santa Maria compete in four challenges: the market contest, the craft contest, the culinary contest, the sports contest with archery. Through a complex system of points assigned by different experts, the winner is declared on the last day of the event and receives the Palio of victory. The atmosphere during those days is truly unique!
The entire re-enactment is accompanied by performances, concerts, children’s entertainment and local cuisine. On this occasion, the Museum will be exceptionally open even at night to discover and enjoy the artistic heritage of the village.
Bevagna is located at about 30 minutes from Perugia, the Umbrian capital city and it is well connected to the towns of Foligno and Todi. It is also near to Spoleto, Montefalco and Bettona. Therefore, without driving too much you can visit several centres of considerable interest.
