Piazza Silvestri is located in the small town of Bevagna, in the province of Perugia. It is considered among the most significant medieval urban constructions in Umbria. The square is overlooked by the Gothic building Palazzo dei Consoli and the Romanesque churches of San Silvestro and San Michele Arcangelo.
The town is surrounded by four walls, the so called “Gaite“. They are perfectly preserved and marked by square towers through which you access the historic centre, characterised by it's long, narrow streets and very picturesque views.
No doubt the most important event is the Market of Gaite, a medieval fair during which it is recreated the daily life in Bevagna in the period between 1250 and 1350. An amazing revival! For ten days, over the last two Sundays in June, Bevagna turns back in time. The old shops resume their activities, local people wear the costumes of that epoch and live again the daily life with games and traditional crafts.
As in the past the Gaite of Bevagna, San Giorgio, San Giovanni, San Pietro and Santa Maria compete in four challenges: the market contest, the craft contest, the culinary contest, the sports contest with archery. Through a complex system of points assigned by different experts, the winner is declared on the last day of the event and receives the Palio of victory. The atmosphere during those days is truly unique!
The entire re-enactment is accompanied by performances, concerts, children’s entertainment and local cuisine. On this occasion, the Museum will be exceptionally open even at night to discover and enjoy the artistic heritage of the village.
Bevagna is located at about 30 minutes from Perugia, the Umbrian capital city and it is well connected to the towns of Foligno and Todi. It is also near to Spoleto, Montefalco and Bettona. Therefore, without driving too much you can visit several centres of considerable interest.

Zandvoort is both a municipality and a town located in the province of North Holland. It is considered one of the biggest beach resorts in the country. It's long sandy beaches and coastal dunes attract tourists from all over the Netherlands and abroad during the warm summer months. Zandvoort is also the home of the country’s most prominent racing circuit: Circuit Park Zandvoort.
The town dates all the way back to 1100. It was then known as Sandevoerde. Throughout much of Zandvoort’s history, fishing was a prominent part of the local economy. In the 19th century, the village began transforming into a seaside resort similar to the ones found in the UK at the time. The first resort was officially inaugurated in 1828. You're looking at a stunning live webcam view of St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City. This magnificent architecture looks wonderful during the day and is also beautifully illuminated at night. In the center stands the grand St. Peter’s Basilica, one of the largest and most important churches in the world. Its iconic dome dominates the skyline and is a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture designed by Michelangelo, among others. Visitors from around the world come to admire its intricate facade, massive columns, and the spiritual heart it represents for Catholics everywhere.
In the foreground of the square, you’ll notice the ancient Egyptian obelisk, which dates back over 2,000 years and was brought to Rome in ancient times before being placed here in the 16th century. On either side, the grand colonnades designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini embrace the square in a symbolic gesture of welcome. The square itself often hosts large crowds for papal audiences and special events. You can also see the fountains, elegant statues lining the rooftops, and the Apostolic Palace, where the Pope resides. The Geirangerfjord is one of Norway's most visited tourist sites and has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, along with the Nærøyfjord, since 2005.
Along the sides of this magnificent fjord, there a number of abandoned farms. The farms that are most commonly visited are Skageflå, Knivsflå and Blomberg. Skageflå can also be reached on foot from Geiranger, while the others can only be seen from the fjord.
The fjord also has several impressive waterfalls. The two most notable waterfalls in the Geirangerfjord are ‘de Syv Søstre’ (the seven sisters) and ‘Friaren’ (the suitor, also called the wooer). The two waterfalls face one another across the fjord, and the suitor is said to be trying to woo the sisters opposite.
Brudesløret (the bridal veil) is another waterfall on the fjord, thus named because it falls delicately over one rocky edge, and when seen backlit by the sun looks like a thin veil over the rocks.

A Leisurely Day in West Bay
If you want a change from the beaches and coastal walks then make for the harbour where you will also find river boats for hire. From here you can take a leisurely rowing boat trip on the River Brit through riverside meadows, but don’t forget to take a picnic. Or take a stroll over to the old station and walk along the disused railway track to Bridport where you can visit the local brewery for a spot of wine tasting!

West Bay had been known as Bridport Harbour until the railway arrived in 1884. Now only the harbour itself retains that name. Over the centuries West Bay has been battered by the elements, baring the scars of numerous storm battles. A three year scheme to rebuild the coastal defences and harbour piers at a cost of £18 million was completed in the winter of 2004 / 2005. The Duke of York formally opened the completed scheme on Tuesday, 8th March 2005.
Kusatsu Onsen is a hot spring resort located in Gunma Prefecture, Japan, North West of Tokyo. It is a popular tourist destination. There are 13 public baths at Kusatsu Onsen. The small bathhouses that are free for both town residents and tourists are managed by the townspeople themselves.

This camera is located near Mile Post (MP) 108 and looks west. The black RR bridge off in the distance was formerly part of the now defunct New York, New Haven and Hartford RR. It is now a rail trail. Westfield River is to the left of the image.
How many trains go by daily? Roughly 15-20 trains pass in a 24-hour period. Your best bet to see a train is to view early or late in the day. Monday through Thursday are the busiest days; Friday through Sunday are slower. Note that many trains pass in the night and can be hard to see.
Most WB trains are headed for the yard at Selkirk, NY, while IM’s are usually headed to Bedford Park, IL, outside of Chicago. Some autoracks are destined to Louisville, KY or other mid-west destinations. The tank ethanol load trains are heading to Proviso, IL to be interchanged on Union Pacific. Most east bounds are headed to West Springfield, MA on their way to Worcester, MA. Some keep going to Framingham, MA.

The square hosts a special "Water Symphony" - every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, between May and October. Here you can attend a special show of water games, music and light projections.

Lala Mountain Nature Protection Zone Spring is filled with a romantic atmosphere! It formed into the Daguan Mountain Natural Landscape Reservation in 1986.
At Lala Mountain, a pink and white sea of flowers decorates the emerald green mountain top, attracting many tourists for the cherry blossoms. Around February to March every year, the 300-meter-long Zhongbaling Cherry Blossom Trail is filled with colorful Taiwan Cherry, Japanese Flowering, Prunus campanulata, Fuji cherry, etc. The falling petals in the breeze paint a beautiful and dreamy scene.
The mountain has the biggest area of juniper forest in Taiwan. The site is home to 18 giant juniper trees. Among these giant woods, the number five giant juniper is the oldest of all. It has a history of 2800 years! Besides the giant junipers, all kinds of rare birds also color the reservation region.

In September 2017, Hurricane Maria caused structural damage to Caravelle Hotel. Located on the west side of Kasutsu Onsen, this is a park where an Onsen river flows. 1400 liters of hot spring water comes out from more than 20 hot spring sources.Visitors can enjoy the view throughout the four seasons, such as the fresh green, autumn leaves and snow view, while enjoying the Sai-no-Kawahara open-air bath and foot bath. This open-air bath is one of the hottest in Kusatsu Onsen.
It is said it is very good for sterilization and anti-inflammation. Opening hours from April to November are from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and from December to March it is open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Entry fee for adults is 600 yen and 300 yen for children.
Furthermore, there are lots of sightseeing spots such as Kusatsu Anamori Inari Shrine within the park.

Damrak, the red carpet of Amsterdam. The street that is first to be seen at the exit of Amsterdam Central Station. Here you will find large shops, hotels and restaurants. In addition, the Damrak is connected to the parallel busy shopping street the Nieuwendijk. The Damrak runs between Amsterdam Centraal in the north and Dam Square in the south.
The Damrak is the oldest part of Amsterdam. The city at the mouth of the Amstel came into existence here, almost a thousand years ago. The Damrak is still the main gateway for millions of visitors and residents of the city. An upgrade of this area and thus the entrance of the city was one of the most important reasons to start the Red Carpet project in the Centrum district.
Today there are nearly two dozen buildings designated as monuments. There’s the old stock exchange, which nowadays hosts a wide variety of cultural events. Closer to Dam square is the huge, prestigious Bijenkorf warehouse attracts bustling crowds of locals and visitors alike.

The Brownville Food Pantry For Deer feeds approximately 400 pounds per day of native oats (local) to help sustain the white-tailed deer population through rough winters here in central Maine.
Feeding happens daily around 14: 00 (2 PM) Eastern Standard Time starting December 16 and continues to the beginning of April. These are wild deer and this is not a deer farm. Some of the deer have been coming for more than 10 years including a piebald deer with more white markings than a normal white-tailed deer.
At times there are 100 to 200 deer at the pantry. Wild turkeys also come and eat the native oats along side the deer. At times you may see up to 100 wild turkeys at once.
There is no Chronic Wasting Disease, or CWD in wild deer in Maine. These deer are all very healthy and there has never been any type of disease spread among these deer. This "Yarding" of deer happens in Maine every winter, even if they were not being fed.

The Morro Bay Yacht Club is a private, non-profit organization devoted to boating activities, along with the protection and enjoyment of our picturesque bay and coastline. We participate in both competitive and non-competitive boating activities throughout the year. Celebrating its turn-of-the-century railroad heritage, the charming town of Apex features more than 60 commercial and residential structures dating from 1870 to 1940. Nowadays, thanks to its lantern situated 43m above sea level when the skies are clear, its eight beams of light are visible from 33 miles (52 km) away. After having climbed the 224 steps, from "world's edge" you will admire the view of La Rochelle, the isles of Ré and Aix, Oléron lengthwise and, of course, Fort Boyard.

Holmestrand is a town in Vestfold, Norway. It is located southwest of Oslo, approximately 1 hour away. Holmestrand in Norwegian literally means small island by the beach. Holmestrand is a nice town with a charming harbour. It's nice to stroll along the harbour or if you prefer woods and hills, it's possible to go for long walks through the countryside. In the winter, good skiing is available.
Holmestrand Brygge will be a newly built quarter with about 80 apartments, over 1000 m2 of commercial premises, and a new green lung in the city. The start of construction was in March 2019 and the project will be completed during the first quarter of 2021.
Asplan Viak's architects have been selected as partners in the development of the project. Their proposals for solutions are very good with a view to further urban development and making the center of Holmestrand attractive as a place to live, shop and work in.

Gubbio is a well-preserved medieval hill town in the Umbria region of central Italy. Gubbio's compact center has a good selection of medieval, Gothic, and Renaissance monuments built of gray limestone and has great views over the beautiful countryside. Just outside the town is a Roman amphitheater.

Gubbio is in Umbria, twenty-five miles northeast of Perugia (see Umbria map) and about 40 miles south of Urbino in the neighboring Marche region.

The closest train station is Fossato di Vico, about 12 miles away. Buses connect Gubbio with the station and other nearby towns. If you're traveling by car, take the scenic SS298 road between Perugia and Gubbio. There's also bus service between Perugia and Gubbio. Buses arrive in Gubbio at Piazza Quaranta Martiri. Umbria has a small airport at Perugia with flights from Europe and the UK. Gubbio is about 124 miles from Rome Fiumicino airport.

The municipal area includes a large lake (Jezioro Wolsztyńskie), next to which is a former palace built in Classical style in the early 20th century, now used as a hotel and restaurant, and a park. Nearby tourist destinations include the Pszczew Landscape Park and the Przemęt Landscape Park.

The webcam is located at the former Chicago & North Western powerhouse, now managed by Structured Development. This historic building, constructed between 1909 and 1911 in the Beaux-Arts style, originally housed the equipment that generated electricity for the Chicago & North Western Railroad’s terminal.

During the 19th century, Varberg became a health resort. The tradition dates back to 1811, when Svartekällan by Apelviken south of the city, was first advertised as a well. A well house was built over the spring in 1817, but from 1837 it was found more practical to transport the water to Varberg, where it was served in the well salon in Brunnsparken opposite the church.
The park was fenced with a rice paddock, where parties, concerts and so on were held for the bathing society. Today, Brunnsparken in Varberg is a lively place in the heart of central Varberg. It houses restaurants and bars as well as shops as well as the magnificent church built 1769-1772.

Czeladz is populated by approximately 33.500 people. Despite its location in the post-mining region, the town is very popular among both tourists and locals. Czeladz attracts everyone with its amazing architecture and numerous monuments. The best place to start sightseeing with is the Old Town and the Market Square.

Every Sunday from 5pm this street turns into a bustling riot of colours, sounds and scents. Each of the different stall owners are here to sell either fresh produce, cooked food or a variety of consumer goods.
This is where you can haggle for items such as T-shirts, sunglasses, watches, beach dresses, lamps, bags of all shapes and sizes, souvenirs and cosmetics.
Don't make the mistake of eating before you come here as you'll want to sample everything from the countless food stands!

The Geirangerfjord is one of Norway's most visited tourist sites and has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, along with the Nærøyfjord, since 2005.
Along the sides of this magnificent fjord, there a number of abandoned farms. The farms that are most commonly visited are Skageflå, Knivsflå and Blomberg. Skageflå can also be reached on foot from Geiranger, while the others can only be seen from the fjord.
The fjord also has several impressive waterfalls. The two most notable waterfalls in the Geirangerfjord are ‘de Syv Søstre’ (the seven sisters) and ‘Friaren’ (the suitor, also called the wooer). The two waterfalls face one another across the fjord, and the suitor is said to be trying to woo the sisters opposite.
Brudesløret (the bridal veil) is another waterfall on the fjord, thus named because it falls delicately over one rocky edge, and when seen backlit by the sun looks like a thin veil over the rocks.
Facts about the Geirangerfjord:
The Sixhaven is located in the centre of Amsterdam on the river ‘IJ’ opposite the Central Railway Station. You can reach the Sixhaven with upright mast from the IJsselmeer (lake IJssel) and the North Sea.
The Sixhaven is conveniently situated near the centre of Amsterdam, which can be reached by ferry about 5 minutes walk from the Sixhaven.
A short ferry trip (5 minutes) will take you to the Central Railway Station. The ferries go frequently, day and night (see time-table public transport GVB).
On the edge of a wide stretch of dunes, you will find The Hague's second most popular beach resort Kijkduin. Hike or bike the dunes, swim the North Sea, or climb up to the impressive landscape art piece "Celestial Vault". Take in the view and enjoy a coffee, beer or glass of wine at one of the terraces along the boulevard.

The International Space Station is a space station, or a habitable artificial satellite, in low Earth orbit. Its first component launched into orbit in 1998, the last pressurised module was fitted in 2011, and the station is expected to be used until 2028.
Development and assembly of the station continues, with components scheduled for launch in 2018 and 2019. The ISS is the largest human-made body in low Earth orbit and can often be seen with the naked eye from Earth. The ISS consists of pressurised modules, external trusses, solar arrays, and other components. ISS components have been launched by Russian Proton and Soyuz rockets, and American Space Shuttles.
The ISS serves as a microgravity and space environment research laboratory in which crew members conduct experiments in biology, human biology, physics, astronomy, meteorology, and other fields. The station is suited for the testing of spacecraft systems and equipment required for missions to the Moon and Mars.
The ISS maintains an orbit with an altitude of between 330 and 435 km (205 and 270 mi) by means of reboost manoeuvres using the engines of the Zvezda module or visiting spacecraft. It completes 15.54 orbits per day.
The ISS programme is a joint project among five participating space agencies: NASA, Roscosmos, JAXA, ESA, and CSA.

Nieuwe Waterweg is a key waterway in the Port of Rotterdam, connecting the North Sea to the port's inner basins. This man-made channel, created in the mid-19th century, facilitates the passage of large vessels, allowing Rotterdam to remain one of the busiest ports in the world. The Nieuwe Waterweg plays a crucial role in maritime trade, supporting both cargo traffic and the movement of tankers and container ships. It also offers scenic views of the bustling maritime activity in one of Europe's most important shipping routes.

The Mississippi River Headwaters are the birthplace of the mighty Mississippi River! Here you can cross the river on foot and there are several beautiful walking trails all around Itasca State Park. There is a Visitor Center which has bathrooms, a gift shop and outdoor water fountains. You can also speak with the Park Ranger team and learn about the area. There is a huge variety of wildlife and plant life and it's a brilliant place to explore!
