Wilson, North Carolina’s story has captivated the imagination of the country. Farm machinery repairman, Vollis Simpson, began making gigantic kinetic sculptures at his family farm in Wilson County when he was nearing retirement age. He kept making his “whirligigs”–seven days a week–until about six months before he dies at the age of 94 in May of 2013. By that time he was famous. The story of Wilson’s campaign to use the renowned whirligigs to recharge its downtown has catapulted the community into the national spotlight. Grants from ArtPlace America, the Kresge Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts have helped the project come close to its goal of opening the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park and Museum.

Welcome to Taiwan! Take a drive along County Highway 169, after passing Dabang and deeper into the mountains, you will arrive at the final destination of this route, Lijia. The webcam here pans around the scenic views during the day and watches over the car park and visitor center at night.
Among Tsou tribes, Lijia is undoubtedly the most remote and secluded, a mysterious Utopia tucked away in the southern valley. Lijia is adjacent to Lijia Creek, at an altitude of 1,100 to 1,400 meters. County Highway 169 is Lijia’s only external connection, with the main roads ending here. Households in Lijia keep various plants such as bird's-nest fern, rock-ginger fern, and dendrobium orchids. Alleyways are kept clean and full of simple and natural beauty. The surrounding tall mountains are rich in natural resources.

The Lakhta Center (Russian: Ла́хта це́нтр) is an 87-story skyscraper currently under construction in the outskirts of Lakhta in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Standing 462 metres (1,516 ft) tall, the Lakhta Center is the tallest building in Russia, the tallest building in Europe, and the 13th-tallest building in the world. The Lakhta Center is also the second-tallest structure in Russia and Europe, behind Ostankino Tower in Moscow.
Construction of Lakhta Center started on 30 October 2012; it was topped out on 29 January 2018. The Lakhta Center surpassed Vostok Tower of the Federation Towers in Moscow as the tallest building in Russia and Europe on 5 October 2017. The center is designed for large-scale mixed-use development: composing of public facilities and offices. The building was designed by Tony Kettle, author of the design, while at RMJM. The project was then continued by GORPROJECT (2011-2017) based on the RMJM Concept (2011) under the main contractor, Rönesans Holding. The Lakhta Center is intended to become the new headquarters of Russian energy company Gazprom.
Lakhta Center's environmentally sustainable technologies helped the complex be certified LEED Gold. The concrete pouring of the bottom slab of Lakhta Center's foundation was registered by Guinness World Records as the largest continuous concrete pour; 19,624 cubic meters of concrete were used, which is approximately 3,000 cubic meters more than in the previous similar record registered at Wilshire Grand Tower. The tower's curtain wall is also the world’s largest cold-bent facade by area.

Framed by the impressive white cliffs of the Alabaster Coast, this historic seaside town was home to the Dukes of Normandy until 1204. A fishing port, seaside resort, artistic and religious pilgrimage site, and home to the famous Benedictine liqueur, Fécamp oozes authenticity and a way of life connected to the sea.
The Geirangerfjord is one of Norway's most visited tourist sites and has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, along with the Nærøyfjord, since 2005.
Along the sides of this magnificent fjord, there a number of abandoned farms. The farms that are most commonly visited are Skageflå, Knivsflå and Blomberg. Skageflå can also be reached on foot from Geiranger, while the others can only be seen from the fjord.
The fjord also has several impressive waterfalls. The two most notable waterfalls in the Geirangerfjord are ‘de Syv Søstre’ (the seven sisters) and ‘Friaren’ (the suitor, also called the wooer). The two waterfalls face one another across the fjord, and the suitor is said to be trying to woo the sisters opposite.
Brudesløret (the bridal veil) is another waterfall on the fjord, thus named because it falls delicately over one rocky edge, and when seen backlit by the sun looks like a thin veil over the rocks.

About the Site
The Panama Fruit Feeder Cam is located on the grounds of the Canopy Lodge in El Valle de Antón, Panama. This site is just over 2,000 ft above sea level in the low mountains of Cerro Gaital, with a mild springtime climate year-round. A small stream called Rio Guayabo runs past the feeders in the background, and the lush landscaping of the Canopy Lodge grounds grade into the forested slopes around them. The feeding table is around 40 feet from the main lodge, and is one of several feeders provisioned throughout the day so that guests to the lodge are greeted to spectacular views of many of the common birds found in this ecosystem.
About the Canopy Lodge
The Canopy Lodge is a full service lodge specializing in nature tourism with a focus on birds. It is about 60 miles west of Panama City in the picturesque village of El Valle de Antón, right in the center of the gigantic crater of an extinct volcano. This is the largest inhabited crater in the Western Hemisphere and second only to the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. It is surrounded by the Cerro Gaital Natural Monument.
Canopy Lodge is one of a series of three ecotourism ventures developed by the Canopy Family. The first, Canopy Tower, involved transforming a former U.S. radar station overlooking the Panama Canal in Soberanía National Park into a unique birding lodge embedded in the canopy of the surrounding forest. The village of Whitesboro is home to around 5,000 people and is located around 250 miles from New York City. The village is named after Hugh White, an early settler who had been adopted into the Oneida tribe and built the first permanent settlement there in 1784-85.

Mount Fuji (富士山, Fujisan) is with 3776 meters Japan's highest mountain. It is not surprising that the nearly perfectly shaped volcano has been worshiped as a sacred mountain and experienced big popularity among artists and common people throughout the centuries.
Mount Fuji is an active volcano, which most recently erupted in 1707. It stands on the border between Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures and can be seen from Tokyo and Yokohama on clear days.
Another easy way to view Mount Fuji is from the train on a trip between Tokyo and Osaka. If you take the shinkansen from Tokyo in direction of Nagoya, Kyoto and Osaka, the best view of the mountain can be enjoyed from around Shin-Fuji Station on the right hand side of the train, about 40-45 minutes into the journey.
Note however, that clouds and poor visibility often block the view of Mount Fuji, and you have to consider yourself lucky if you get a clear view of the mountain. Visibility tends to be better during the colder seasons of the year than in summer, and in the early morning and late evening hours than during the middle of the day.
If you want to enjoy Mount Fuji at a more leisurely pace and from a nice natural surrounding, you should head to the Fuji Five Lake (Fujigoko) region at the northern foot of the mountain, or to Hakone, a nearby hot spring resort. Mount Fuji is officially open for climbing during July and August via several routes.

The NC State Memorial Belltower is a tall stone tower at North Carolina State University in Raleigh. It was built to honor students who died in World War I. The tower has 55 real bells that were added in 2021. They ring for events like graduation, holidays, and school victories. It is one of the most famous symbols of the university.
The Belltower stands at the edge of campus, close to Hillsborough Street, where you can find cafés, shops, and restaurants. Every year, the Krispy Kreme Challenge starts here, runners race to a Krispy Kreme shop, eat a dozen doughnuts, and run back, all in under an hour! The city center was rebuilt by Auguste Perret after the Second World War and today it is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is decorated with beautiful architecture and a huge variety of public artworks, just walking around the city will fill you with endless inspiration.
To enjoy the sights from a different perspective, you can climb up to the 17th floor of the town hall tower and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view. Zandvoort is both a municipality and a town located in the province of North Holland. It is considered one of the biggest beach resorts in the country. It's long sandy beaches and coastal dunes attract tourists from all over the Netherlands and abroad during the warm summer months. Zandvoort is also the home of the country’s most prominent racing circuit: Circuit Park Zandvoort.
The town dates all the way back to 1100. It was then known as Sandevoerde. Throughout much of Zandvoort’s history, fishing was a prominent part of the local economy. In the 19th century, the village began transforming into a seaside resort similar to the ones found in the UK at the time. The first resort was officially inaugurated in 1828. After the inauguration, tourists began flocking to Zandvoort. Elisabeth of Bavaria was a famous visitor who spent time in Zandvoort in 1884 and 1885.

Sheltered on the east side of the island of Vågsøy, Måløy is a major exporter of Norway's treasured seafood
A charming village, with a population of just over 3,000 people, Måløy is the administrative centre of the municipality of Vågsøy. While the town is small, it has huge facilities for preserving and processing fish. Every year, 180,000-200,000 tonnes of fish are brought ashore here and then exported directly abroad. You can see the schedule for the ships entering and leaving the port here.
Vågsøy has several unique characteristics. In addition to Måløy town centre and its many lighthouses, the area is known for the well-known Kannestenen rock, molded by the sea over thousands of years into a spectacular mushroom-like shape. Also, for lazy summer days, you'll find a beautiful silver sand beach. Some say it's the most beautiful in Norway. Adding to its local attractions, Måløy is close to several famous national attractions like the Jostedalsbreen National Park - where you will find the largest glacier in continental Europe.
History
Legend has it that Viking King Magnus the Good went ashore on the small island of Moldøen in 1035. From here he summoned all the peasants in the area to "thing" (meaning assembly of free men). His father St. Olav had been fighting these peasants for a long time, but Magnus wanted peace and promised them better laws and more freedom. The island was then named Málstefna, literally "speaking stone".
This was later modernized to Moldøen. Måløy was originally founded as a trading centre on this small island. As trade flourished, the town gradually moved to the larger island of Vågsøy, while keeping the name of the smaller island. This is the cause of some confusion, although the smaller island is today often known as "Lisje-Måløyna" (the smaller Måløy). Måløy became an official town in 1997.

The San Pellegrino Pass (Passo San Pallegrino) is a high mountain pass in the Italian Dolomites. It connects the municipalities of Moena and Falcade.
The area is also popular in summer for rock climbing and is quipped with state-of-the-art lifts, the whole skiing area offers over 100 km of slopes of various length and difficulty.

Solikamsk is a city in Perm Krai, Russia. This camera is located at the intersection of Severnaya and Molodezhnaya streets.
Solikamsk was founded in the 15th century at it's location on the Usolka River. The town quickly became famous for it's production of salt. Different kinds of salt are extracted, processed and prepared to be used in food and industrial purposes. In the mid-17th century Solikamsk also became the first centre of copper casting in Russia.

The Brownville Food Pantry For Deer feeds approximately 400 pounds per day of native oats (local) to help sustain the white-tailed deer population through rough winters here in central Maine.
Feeding happens daily around 14: 00 (2 PM) Eastern Standard Time starting December 16 and continues to the beginning of April. These are wild deer and this is not a deer farm. Some of the deer have been coming for more than 10 years including a piebald deer with more white markings than a normal white-tailed deer.
At times there are 100 to 200 deer at the pantry. Wild turkeys also come and eat the native oats along side the deer. At times you may see up to 100 wild turkeys at once.
There is no Chronic Wasting Disease, or CWD in wild deer in Maine. These deer are all very healthy and there has never been any type of disease spread among these deer. This "Yarding" of deer happens in Maine every winter, even if they were not being fed.

Ilene Nature Reserve was started in 1981, is a so-called "Ramsar" area,- an import area as regards wildlife/bird conservation and protection. This mud-flats area is worthy of protection and of great importance for birds as a rest and feeding ground during spring and autumn emigration.
236 different sorts of birds have been observed here from the nature trails and birdwatching towers. In addition, the activities in the area include information work, ringing of birds, courses in bird watching, and influencing political decision-makers to protect wetlands and other important biotopes and ecosystems.

The hotel is ideal for courses and conferences and has a separate congress centre that was completed in the summer of 1997. The congress centre is fully equipped with ultra-modern AV and technical equipment.
The hotel has its own fitness/relax centre where you can enjoy such facilities as indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Turkish baths, sauna, outdoor massage pool and solarium.
The garden that surrounds the hotel has a separate rooftop garden on top of the conference centre. The roof garden has its own dance area, barbecue area and outdoor swimming pool. Also nearby are minigolf and play areas for children. The garden also contains Mollaløa, a 'typical Sunnmøre' reception/banqueting room. In the rustic Mollaløa, we serve traditional food according to our own menu. The rooms can accommodate up to 50 persons. If desired, local musicians or historians can contribute to the event. If you wish, a local historian can lead you through the dramatic history of Geiranger, told with a humorous slant combined with tastings of the local 'moonshine'.
Hotel Union also has its own revue show and show arena, a themed bar with an interior inspired by the hotel itself and Geiranger's transport history.
The hotel provides transport for individuals and groups from the quayside at Geiranger. The hotel can also arrange transport to Ålesund airport at Vigra if required.

Organized by the Bucharest City Hall and Apa Nova, the Water Symphony starts from 21:30 and brings together Bucharestians, Romanian tourists and international tourists eager to enjoy a sensational show. The music, water and light shows blend harmoniously to offer a unique experience to visitors, the show lasts about 45 minutes, and access to the area is free.
In 2018, the fountain complex in Piata Unirii underwent an extensive rehabilitation process fully supported by the company Apa Nova, as a result of which, the fountains in the center of the Romanian Capital became the first in Europe to benefit from state-of-the-art equipment.

This stream offers a tour of the Danilikha district in the city of Perm, Russia. The camera switches between 18 different positions, giving a great overview of the area - please note that some positions are hard to see at night and during heavy weather.
Located on the banks of the Kama River, at the foot of the Ural Mountains. Perm is one of the largest cities in Russia, with around 1.2 million residents. It is one of the stops on the Trans-Siberian Railway so it gets quite a few tourists who visit the city attractions which include a zoo, museums and the opera and ballet house. For those who enjoy walking, you can stroll along the river, visit Park Gorkogo or even take a trip to the mountains for a more challenging hike.
