The Zeppelin shopping centre and the cultural cluster built around the neighbouring Zemppi building serve visitors all year round. Just a five-minute walk down the Damrak from Centraal Station takes you into this jam-packed square, jostling with locals and tourists day and night. Whatever the weather, there is always something going on!
On the west end of the square is the neoclassical Royal Palace, which served as the city hall from 1655 until its conversion to a royal residence in 1808. Beside it are the 15th-century Gothic Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) and the Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.
The National Monument, a white stone pillar designed by J.J.P. Oud and erected in 1956 to memorialize the victims of World War II, dominates the opposite side of the square. Erasmus Bridge is a combined cable stayed and bascule bridge, construction began in 1986 and was completed in 1996. It crosses the nieuwe maas in the centre of Rotterdam, connecting the north and south parts of this city, the second largest city in the Netherlands.
The bridge is 800 meters long and at its highest point, the bridge is 139 meters tall. Known as the 'erasmusbrug' in dutch, the bridge has also been lovingly nicknamed the swan (‘de zwaan’) by locals due to the distinctive shape of that one, asymmetrical pylon. It was designed by Ben van Berkel and opened in 1996 by Queen Beatrix.
The bridge has a beautiful lighting display in the evening, so be sure to check the camera then to admire the view.
On the beautiful peninsula of Walcheren, also named “the garden of Zeeland” , you can find camping Janse. Just 2 km away from the village of Zoutelande and at the foot of the sand dunes. The beach is directly behind the campsite, a few minutes walk over the dunes brings you to the beach.
On our neatly kept camp site, all of the pitches are approx. 95 m2, with well cared for grass areas.
For the children we have a nice play area, an animal corner and a sand pit. Further you find a jeu de boules area and a covered area “Jansje” where you can borrow books, magazines, games and toys during your stay. During the holiday period, there is a recreational team three times a week on the campsite.
The campsite is on the bicycle route, walking paths and roller skating paths are nearby. Rather travel by bus, the busstop is outside the campsite, where your discovery trail can begin. Holidays on campsite Janse is a holiday, truly near the sea.

Gualdo Tadino, famous for its ceramics industry and art, lays on Sant'Angelo hill dominated by the castel "Rocca Flea". Athough not much is known about the history of the town during ancient romans, it is quite sure that the roman Tadinum was an important center since it was along the Flaminia way.
It was destroyed and robbed several times by the barbarians; and due to that it was rebuilt in 1180 on the close hills, as testified by the name Gualdo, from the german word "walt" i.e. "wood". During the Middle Age it became a free commun, and later on it was taken over by the papal state.
The town has a number of artistic attractions: first of all the castle, named Rocca Flea , realized in the XIII century for order of Federico II. Among the other churches, there are the Dome of San Benedetto (XIII century) with its interesting facade on which a rose-window opens (at its inside wonderful works can be found) and the Church of San Francesco, a marveous gothic building, decorated by Matteo di Gualdo, which was born in this town. Interesting also is the Communal Pinacotheca in which, besides the works of Matteo di Gualdo, also a beautiful painting of Niccolò Alunno can be admired.

A Red-tailed Hawk pair has been nesting above Cornell University’s athletic fields since at least the 2012, making use of two different light towers for their nest sites. In 2012 and 2015, they used a tower near Fernow Hall, and in 2013, 2014, and 2016, they used the tower nearest Weill Hall. We installed cameras at both of these sites to get a better look at the intimate behavior of these well-known birds as they raise their young amid the bustle of a busy campus.
Red-tailed hawks are monogamous and may mate for life. They make stick nests high above the ground, in which the female lays one to five eggs each year. Both sexes incubate the eggs for four to five weeks, and feed the young from the time they hatch until they leave the nest about six weeks later.
Red-tailed Hawks, especially in the West, have highly variable plumage, including dark and rufous phases. They have long, broad wings and short, wide tails. Most have light breasts and dark streaks forming a mottled 'belly-band.' Most have dark brown heads. The underwings are mottled dark and light. All plumages of Red-tailed Hawks have a darkish band on the leading edges of the inner underwings, known as the 'patagial' markings. The upper side of the tail of most adult birds is deep rufous, although the Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk, a subspecies occasionally seen in Washington, has a light gray or banded tail. Light birds often have a faint white 'V' on their back-feathers that can be seen when they are perched. Juveniles lack the red tail.

Solikamsk is a city in Perm Krai, Russia. This camera is located at the intersection of Severnaya and Molodezhnaya streets.
Solikamsk was founded in the 15th century at it's location on the Usolka River. The town quickly became famous for it's production of salt. Different kinds of salt are extracted, processed and prepared to be used in food and industrial purposes. In the mid-17th century Solikamsk also became the first centre of copper casting in Russia.

About the Site
The Panama Fruit Feeder Cam is located on the grounds of the Canopy Lodge in El Valle de Antón, Panama. This site is just over 2,000 ft above sea level in the low mountains of Cerro Gaital, with a mild springtime climate year-round. A small stream called Rio Guayabo runs past the feeders in the background, and the lush landscaping of the Canopy Lodge grounds grade into the forested slopes around them. The feeding table is around 40 feet from the main lodge, and is one of several feeders provisioned throughout the day so that guests to the lodge are greeted to spectacular views of many of the common birds found in this ecosystem.
About the Canopy Lodge
The Canopy Lodge is a full service lodge specializing in nature tourism with a focus on birds. It is about 60 miles west of Panama City in the picturesque village of El Valle de Antón, right in the center of the gigantic crater of an extinct volcano. This is the largest inhabited crater in the Western Hemisphere and second only to the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. It is surrounded by the Cerro Gaital Natural Monument.
Canopy Lodge is one of a series of three ecotourism ventures developed by the Canopy Family. The first, Canopy Tower, involved transforming a former U.S. radar station overlooking the Panama Canal in Soberanía National Park into a unique birding lodge embedded in the canopy of the surrounding forest. Erasmus Bridge is a combined cable stayed and bascule bridge, construction began in 1986 and was completed in 1996. It crosses the nieuwe maas in the centre of Rotterdam, connecting the north and south parts of this city, the second largest city in the Netherlands. The bridge is 800 meters long and at its highest point, the bridge is 139 meters tall. Known as the 'erasmusbrug' in dutch, the bridge has also been lovingly nicknamed the swan (‘de zwaan’) by locals due to the distinctive shape.
Around the river, several old warehouses and a number of newer buildings now house cultural institutes and restaurants. In the distance, you can see the soaring De Rotterdam complex. The three linked towers are nearly 150 metres high, forming a ‘vertical city’ of high-class flats, a 4-star hotel, offices, shops, restaurants, fitness and parking facilities.

When the river is navigable you can enjoy the beautiful landscape along the Elbe between Děčín and Hamburg every day. Holmestrand is a town in Vestfold, Norway. It is located southwest of Oslo, approximately 1 hour away. Holmestrand in Norwegian literally means small island by the beach. Farm machinery repairman, Vollis Simpson, began making gigantic kinetic sculptures at his family farm in Wilson County when he was nearing retirement age. He kept making his “whirligigs”–seven days a week–until about six months before he dies at the age of 94 in May of 2013. By that time he was famous. The nearest town on the coast is Salou which is 12 kilometres south of Reus. Other coastal towns and resorts within a half hour drive include Cambrils and La Pineda.
When traveling from Reus to Barcelona you'll pass through Tarragona. Tarragona has some stunning Roman architecture. It has been recognised by UNESCO and is worth a visit. It's feasible to travel to Tarragona from Reus to sample the nightlife as the journey by car takes around 20 minutes.
Shanyuan Bay is the longest sandy beach on the east coast of Taiwan. It is significant in terms of cultural and historic importance. It is the indigenous land for three Amis tribes, Jialulan, Citong, and Dulan. In the Amis language, the beach is called "Fudafudak," which means sparkling.
Indigenous activities such as gathering food and festivals take place here. Shanyuan Bay is a key part of Dulan and only 12 kilometers away from downtown Taitung. The short 15 minute drive makes Shanyuan Bay easily accessible. On the way to the beach, visitors pass by Xiaoyeliu. Check two attractions off your list when you swing by Xiaoyeliu before a day at Shanyuan Bay.

During the 19th century, Varberg became a health resort. The tradition dates back to 1811, when Svartekällan by Apelviken south of the city, was first advertised as a well. A well house was built over the spring in 1817, but from 1837 it was found more practical to transport the water to Varberg, where it was served in the well salon in Brunnsparken opposite the church.
The park was fenced with a rice paddock, where parties, concerts and so on were held for the bathing society. Today, Brunnsparken in Varberg is a lively place in the heart of central Varberg. It houses restaurants and bars as well as shops as well as the magnificent church built 1769-1772.

Shiga Prefecture is located in almost the exact center of Japan and also boasts the islands’ largest lake, Lake Biwa.
A large freshwater lake in Shiga Prefecture, northeast of Kyoto. It’s known for its abundant fish population, migratory water birds and wetland regions. It's shoreline is home to resorts and beaches like Ōmi-Maiko.
Around the lake are historic sites including the 17th-century Hikone castle and the 8th-century Buddhist temple complex Enryaku-ji. Lake Biwa Museum has cultural and natural history exhibits.

Daxi Old Street in Taoyuan City, Taiwan | The Heart of Asia
Daxi was the earliest developed area in Taoyuan. Thanks to small sailboats sailing between Dahan Creek and Tamsui River, Daxi had a thriving trade with China, and its prosperity brought success to many stores and businessmen.
During the Japanese occupation period of the Taisho era, Baroque architecture was the popular building style and therefore many stores along Heping Road and Zhongshan Road were built in the Baroque style, but decorated with both Baroque ornamentation and characteristic totems of Min-nan in Southern China. Speciality shops and food stands on the street always attract many tourists.
