How many trains go by daily? Roughly 15-20 trains pass in a 24-hour period. Your best bet to see a train is to view early or late in the day. Monday through Thursday are the busiest days; Friday through Sunday are slower. Note that many trains pass in the night and can be hard to see.
Most WB trains are headed for the yard at Selkirk, NY, while IM’s are usually headed to Bedford Park, IL, outside of Chicago. Some autoracks are destined to Louisville, KY or other mid-west destinations. The tank ethanol load trains are heading to Proviso, IL to be interchanged on Union Pacific. Most east bounds are headed to West Springfield, MA on their way to Worcester, MA. Some keep going to Framingham, MA.

A view from the Office of Rail Transport, overlooking Warsaw West Train Station. Please note: during bad weather the image may be distorted by rain on the camera lens.
Warsaw easily intertwines the modern with the historic. For a relaxing afternoon, head to the Baroque-style Lazienki Park (Royal Baths). Created by the king in the 17th century, idle a while under the old oaks surrounded by squirrels and peacocks, little ponds and palaces. In the summer, don’t miss outdoor Chopin piano concerts that take place every Sunday at noon and at 4pm, by the composer’s monument. Grab a bite at Qchnia Artystyczna, the well-regarded restaurant within Ujazdowski Castle.
There’s even an Old Town and a New Town – built in both the 17th and 18th centuries. Wander the narrow cobblestone streets or head to the Market Square where you’ll find traditional Polish restaurants. On Krakowskie Przedmiescie and Nowy Swiat – the city’s main promenades, find newer pubs and cafes that house youthful ebullience.
Warsaw is well connected by train to other cities. Kraków, the artistic heart of Poland, is only three hours away by InterCity train. Historic Gdansk on the Baltic coast is a bit lengthier – a six hour ride – but oh ! – the beauty you will see. Consider getting off the train in Malbork, just 20 minutes before Gdansk and visit its immense medieval castle. If you have a European East Pass, you could also visit Budapest, Vienna and Prague. With a Eurail Germany-Poland Pass, consider taking Berlin-Warsaw Express, which takes a bit over five hours.

With roughly one million inhabitants, Sendai (仙台) is by far the largest city in the Tohoku Region and one of the country's 15 largest cities. The modern city of Sendai was founded around 1600 by Date Masamune, one of feudal Japan's most powerful lords. Many of Sendai's tourist attractions are related to Masamune and his family.
Sendai was the closest major city to the epicenter of the earthquake of March 11, 2011. The tsunami devastated the city's coastal outskirts but did not cause major damage in the city center. Virtually all tourist spots reopened within a few months of the earthquake.
Less than an hour northeast of the city center lies the town of Matsushima, whose bay is dotted by pine clad islets and is known for one of Japan's three most scenic views.
This suspension bridge crosses Tokyo Bay, joining Minato City and Koto City. The bridge is colorfully illuminated at night using power only generated by solar panels. The bridge, the cars and the skyscrapers combine to offer a beautiful light show.
From this vantage point you can also see the Shuto Expressway, the Harumi Passenger Terminal and a huge panorama of the Tokyo city skyline. Welcome to Japan!

Hello viewers, the cameras are transmitting live footage from the stork's nest. It's important to remember that storks are a part of the wild and are not bound by human standards or laws. As a result, you may witness some unsettling or distressing events, such as instances of aggression between storks, attacks by predators, or the death of a young one. However, these events are a natural part of life, and it's important not to interfere. Rest assured, the camera system is monitored by ornithologists who can intervene if necessary. They are experts in their field and will carefully consider any actions that need to be taken.
This camera is sponsored by HD Internet - a popular internet, phone and TV company based in Trutnov. Many thanks to them for the stream! The nest is housed on a chimney at KARA Fashion - thanks to them for the location!
The storks also have an official website with lots more information.

The Geirangerfjord is one of Norway's most visited tourist sites and has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, along with the Nærøyfjord, since 2005.
Along the sides of this magnificent fjord, there a number of abandoned farms. The farms that are most commonly visited are Skageflå, Knivsflå and Blomberg. Skageflå can also be reached on foot from Geiranger, while the others can only be seen from the fjord.
The fjord also has several impressive waterfalls. The two most notable waterfalls in the Geirangerfjord are ‘de Syv Søstre’ (the seven sisters) and ‘Friaren’ (the suitor, also called the wooer). The two waterfalls face one another across the fjord, and the suitor is said to be trying to woo the sisters opposite.
Brudesløret (the bridal veil) is another waterfall on the fjord, thus named because it falls delicately over one rocky edge, and when seen backlit by the sun looks like a thin veil over the rocks.
Facts about the Geirangerfjord:

Assisi is one of Italy's prime tourist attractions; a simple and peaceful town with a rich religious heritage. It has many small hotels, excellent restaurants and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The town is situated in the green hills of Umbria, on the slopes of Monte Subasio.
Assisi is the birthplace of St. Francis (San Francesco), patron saint of animals and ecology and also Italy's patron saint. Religious pilgrims have come here for centuries to visit the Basilica of San Francesco.
Assisi is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The entire town basks in this coveted status because of its plethora of art and historically significant buildings, like the Basilica di San Francesco. The basilica, in particular, has such a collection of frescoes and paintings that it rivals many art museums. According to the UN, The town has a singular importance for its role in the diffusion of the Franciscan Order and for its “continuity of a city-sanctuary” from its Umbrian-Roman origins to today.

Welcome to the amazing view of the Deerfield Beach Blue. Spinner the Sea Camera sits at the bottom of the city’s landmark fishing pier, which stretches out over the ocean at nearly 1000 feet from the shoreline. Spinner’s home is located in 30-feet of water, on the pilings of the pier. Our crowning jewel is packed daily with fishermen anxious to take a bow to a tarpon or pick a fight with a feisty Barracuda.
Be prepared when you tune in to catch a glimpse of everything from a parrotfish posing for Spinner the Sea Cam, to sharks or even playful sea turtles. During the winter months, you might even see Jellyfish bouncing around the neighborhood. You will be mesmerized by the variety of multi-colored reef fish wrestling for the spotlight.
The view of the DFB Blue will easily provide moments of zen to your day, but we hope that this awesome wonder will serve as a reminder that we all have a responsibility to take care of the ocean and everything in it. Be wise and do your part to keep the ocean and its creatures free of plastics and other harmful materials. Deerfield Beach… more than just a pretty beach!

Sheltered on the east side of the island of Vågsøy, Måløy is a major exporter of Norway's treasured seafood
A charming village, with a population of just over 3,000 people, Måløy is the administrative centre of the municipality of Vågsøy. While the town is small, it has huge facilities for preserving and processing fish. Every year, 180,000-200,000 tonnes of fish are brought ashore here and then exported directly abroad. You can see the schedule for the ships entering and leaving the port here.
Vågsøy has several unique characteristics. In addition to Måløy town centre and its many lighthouses, the area is known for the well-known Kannestenen rock, molded by the sea over thousands of years into a spectacular mushroom-like shape. Also, for lazy summer days, you'll find a beautiful silver sand beach. Some say it's the most beautiful in Norway. Adding to its local attractions, Måløy is close to several famous national attractions like the Jostedalsbreen National Park - where you will find the largest glacier in continental Europe.
History
Legend has it that Viking King Magnus the Good went ashore on the small island of Moldøen in 1035. From here he summoned all the peasants in the area to "thing" (meaning assembly of free men). His father St. Olav had been fighting these peasants for a long time, but Magnus wanted peace and promised them better laws and more freedom. The island was then named Málstefna, literally "speaking stone".
This was later modernized to Moldøen. Måløy was originally founded as a trading centre on this small island. As trade flourished, the town gradually moved to the larger island of Vågsøy, while keeping the name of the smaller island. This is the cause of some confusion, although the smaller island is today often known as "Lisje-Måløyna" (the smaller Måløy). Måløy became an official town in 1997.

The mainland portion of the airport opened as a military aerodrome in 1923, and commenced civilian joint use as Omura Airport (大村空港) in 1955.
The current island runway and terminal opened on May 1, 1975. Although Nagasaki is superficially similar to Japan's other island airports, Kansai International Airport, Kobe Airport, Kitakyushu Airport, and Chūbu Centrair International Airport, Nagasaki's island existed (in a radically different shape) before the airport was constructed. Constructing the airport required flattening the island's hills and forming landfill around its shore, expanding it from 0.9 to 1.54 km2 (0.35 to 0.59 sq mi).

The elegant cathedral was the first Gothic style church in Korea to be constructed of brick. The roof of the church is 23 meters (75 feet) tall while the bell tower is 45 meters (147 feet) tall. The floor plan of the church was designed around a Latin cross.
The construction of the cathedral started in 1892 and was completed in 1898. Unlike most Gothic buildings, Myeongdong Cathedral was built with bricks instead of stones. It gives the cathedral a characteristic atmosphere. The splendid high ceilings inside the church and the arches in between the magnificent inner pillars show the beautiful Gothic style well. The basement is contains the remains of nine saints and martyrs, who devoted their lives to the propagation of Catholicism in Korea. Behind the cathedral, Seongmo Dongsan (St. Mary's garden) is situated. During lunch hour, pipe organs are playing here. The garden offers a peaceful resting space after visiting the cathedral.

The sun sets behind the temple and then it’s lit till 11.00. It looks beautiful in moonlight when the lights go out and, of course, it’s at its most dynamic in gales. At winds of over 60mph the temple is temporarily chained down.
Restless Temple – ride the storm
Temples are usually made of stone, stand still and glorify mortal and immortal power. I started to think about this temple in 2000, as a monument to our ambitious and precarious ingenuity – always at the mercy of the forces of Nature. This temple moves between the powers of wind and gravity.
Its columns are hollow, just a light cedar skin. The engineered strength is similar to that of a ship’s mast. A core of tensioned steel runs from temple top to the counterweights at the bottom.
It’s uncertain how long the temple will ride the storms and survive intact. Any decay is seen as part of its journey. Hopefully it will have time enough to attract plants, mosses and lichens.

Daxi Old Street in Taoyuan City, Taiwan | The Heart of Asia
Daxi was the earliest developed area in Taoyuan. Thanks to small sailboats sailing between Dahan Creek and Tamsui River, Daxi had a thriving trade with China, and its prosperity brought success to many stores and businessmen.
During the Japanese occupation period of the Taisho era, Baroque architecture was the popular building style and therefore many stores along Heping Road and Zhongshan Road were built in the Baroque style, but decorated with both Baroque ornamentation and characteristic totems of Min-nan in Southern China. Speciality shops and food stands on the street always attract many tourists.

During the 19th century, Varberg became a health resort. The tradition dates back to 1811, when Svartekällan by Apelviken south of the city, was first advertised as a well. A well house was built over the spring in 1817, but from 1837 it was found more practical to transport the water to Varberg, where it was served in the well salon in Brunnsparken opposite the church.
The park was fenced with a rice paddock, where parties, concerts and so on were held for the bathing society. Today, Brunnsparken in Varberg is a lively place in the heart of central Varberg. It houses restaurants and bars as well as shops as well as the magnificent church built 1769-1772.
