Scenic View Campground was established in 2017. Development of the grounds began in the fall of 2014 when the 3.5 acre pond was developed.
After the completion of the pond, construction of the Bar & Grill began, and in May of 2017, Scenic View Campground Bar & Grill was opened. Opening night set a high bar for what was to come!
Since opening night, the Bar & Grill has become the go-to gathering place in the area. Not only is it a bar and grill, but we also do catering, event rentals, live entertainment, and we’re open to snowmobiles throughout the winter. Although we are fully open, we are always looking to improve on what we currently have. Among those areas to be completed or updated are the beach and swimming area, docks for the paddle boats, and an all-new event pavilion for graduations, reunions, birthdays, weddings, and much more! Erasmus Bridge is a combined cable stayed and bascule bridge, construction began in 1986 and was completed in 1996. It crosses the nieuwe maas in the centre of Rotterdam, connecting the north and south parts of this city, the second largest city in the Netherlands. The bridge is 800 meters long and at its highest point, the bridge is 139 meters tall. Known as the 'erasmusbrug' in dutch, the bridge has also been lovingly nicknamed the swan (‘de zwaan’) by locals due to the distinctive shape.
Around the river, several old warehouses and a number of newer buildings now house cultural institutes and restaurants. In the distance, you can see the soaring De Rotterdam complex. The three linked towers are nearly 150 metres high, forming a ‘vertical city’ of high-class flats, a 4-star hotel, offices, shops, restaurants, fitness and parking facilities.

Lago Trasimeno is the 4th largest lake in Italy. The lake is clean and safe for swimming, safe for children and very warm during the summer months due to its shallow depth. Fishing for pike, carp and tench, and other species of fish, is a way of life for many locals and a popular tourist activity. The lake is fished commercially and many species of fish can be sampled at the numerous local restaurants surrounding the lake.
The Trasimeno climate is warm, with long summers and moderate winters. From May to September, the Lake is warm enough to swim. It has well tended beaches and variety of watersports including sailing, windsurfing and diving and the town of Passignano is the best place to find these. Lago di Trasimeno is favorite holiday destination for tourists and locals; sunbathing on beaches or sailing, kayaking and canoeing.
There are regular ferries, out to the 3 islands from Tuoro-sul-Trasimeno to Isola Maggiore. There is a fishing village whose houses date from the 14th century. St. Francis himself slept here in 1211. Horseback riding and 9-hole golf club in Panicale. You can enjoy thermal spas at Chincano Terme, Sarteano and Montepulciano.
There is also an exciting nightlife in all the small towns surrounding Trasimeno throughout the summer months, and is especially popular with Italian Tourists in the month of August. Hotel Union is a family-run hotel that is situated on a hill just above the centre of the tourist village of Geiranger, with a fantastic view of the fjords and mountains. The current hosts are the 3rd and 4th generation of the Melva family - the hotel has been in the family since 1897.
Hotel Union has 197 rooms in several categories, from well-equipped standard rooms to luxury suites. Lala Mountain Nature Protection Zone Spring is filled with a romantic atmosphere! It formed into the Daguan Mountain Natural Landscape Reservation in 1986.
At Lala Mountain, a pink and white sea of flowers decorates the emerald green mountain top, attracting many tourists for the cherry blossoms. Around February to March every year, the 300-meter-long Zhongbaling Cherry Blossom Trail is filled with colorful Taiwan Cherry, Japanese Flowering, Prunus campanulata, Fuji cherry, etc. The falling petals in the breeze paint a beautiful and dreamy scene.
The mountain has the biggest area of juniper forest in Taiwan. The site is home to 18 giant juniper trees. Among these giant woods, the number five giant juniper is the oldest of all. It has a history of 2800 years! Besides the giant junipers, all kinds of rare birds also color the reservation region.
Kusatsu Onsen is a hot spring resort located in Gunma Prefecture, Japan, North West of Tokyo. It is a popular tourist destination. There are 13 public baths at Kusatsu Onsen. The small bathhouses that are free for both town residents and tourists are managed by the townspeople themselves.

Myeongdong Cathedral was the first and most important Catholic church in Korea and is an important symbol of Christianity in the country. The church is an important icon of Korea and Myeongdong. The elegant cathedral was the first Gothic style church in Korea to be constructed of brick. The roof of the church is 23 meters (75 feet) tall while the bell tower is 45 meters (147 feet) tall. The floor plan of the church was designed around a Latin cross.
The construction of the cathedral started in 1892 and was completed in 1898. Unlike most Gothic buildings, Myeongdong Cathedral was built with bricks instead of stones. It gives the cathedral a characteristic atmosphere. The splendid high ceilings inside the church and the arches in between the magnificent inner pillars show the beautiful Gothic style well. The basement is contains the remains of nine saints and martyrs, who devoted their lives to the propagation of Catholicism in Korea. Behind the cathedral, Seongmo Dongsan (St. Mary's garden) is situated. During lunch hour, pipe organs are playing here. The garden offers a peaceful resting space after visiting the cathedral.

This open-air bath is one of the hottest in Kusatsu Onsen.
It is said it is very good for sterilization and anti-inflammation. Opening hours from April to November are from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and from December to March it is open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Entry fee for adults is 600 yen and 300 yen for children.

The Morro Bay Yacht Club is a private, non-profit organization devoted to boating activities, along with the protection and enjoyment of our picturesque bay and coastline. We participate in both competitive and non-competitive boating activities throughout the year. Anyone at least 21 who owns a boat, is planning to buy a boat, or regularly enjoys boating activities in someone else’s boat is invited to apply for membership. Currently our members’ boats range in size from kayaks to ocean cruisers, and just about everything in between.
Many of our club activities center around sailing with small boat races held inside the bay or at local lakes, and big boat races held in nearby Estero Bay.

Built in 2006, this waterhole is located 8 km from Namib Desert Lodge. The pump is powered by solar energy and filled by a nearby borehole. Water levels are monitored by a float system, which allows the water to be automatically refreshed as needed.

In this park, all man-made barriers have been removed, creating a space over 56,540 square kilometers - wildlife moves freely between the two parks and the other privately owned guest farms. Zandvoort is both a municipality and a town located in the province of North Holland. It is considered one of the biggest beach resorts in the country. The Brownville Food Pantry For Deer feeds approximately 400 pounds per day of native oats (local) to help sustain the white-tailed deer population through rough winters here in central Maine.
Feeding happens daily around 14: 00 (2 PM) Eastern Standard Time starting December 16 and continues to the beginning of April. These are wild deer and this is not a deer farm. Some of the deer have been coming for more than 10 years including a piebald deer with more white markings than a normal white-tailed deer.
At times there are 100 to 200 deer at the pantry. Wild turkeys also come and eat the native oats along side the deer. At times you may see up to 100 wild turkeys at once.
There is no Chronic Wasting Disease, or CWD in wild deer in Maine. These deer are all very healthy and there has never been any type of disease spread among these deer. This "Yarding" of deer happens in Maine every winter, even if they were not being fed.

A Red-tailed Hawk pair has been nesting above Cornell University’s athletic fields since at least the 2012, making use of two different light towers for their nest sites. In 2012 and 2015, they used a tower near Fernow Hall, and in 2013, 2014, and 2016, they used the tower nearest Weill Hall. We installed cameras at both of these sites to get a better look at the intimate behavior of these well-known birds as they raise their young amid the bustle of a busy campus.
Red-tailed hawks are monogamous and may mate for life. They make stick nests high above the ground, in which the female lays one to five eggs each year. Both sexes incubate the eggs for four to five weeks, and feed the young from the time they hatch until they leave the nest about six weeks later.
Red-tailed Hawks, especially in the West, have highly variable plumage, including dark and rufous phases. They have long, broad wings and short, wide tails. Most have light breasts and dark streaks forming a mottled 'belly-band.' Most have dark brown heads. The underwings are mottled dark and light. All plumages of Red-tailed Hawks have a darkish band on the leading edges of the inner underwings, known as the 'patagial' markings. The upper side of the tail of most adult birds is deep rufous, although the Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk, a subspecies occasionally seen in Washington, has a light gray or banded tail. Light birds often have a faint white 'V' on their back-feathers that can be seen when they are perched. Juveniles lack the red tail.
